If you have struggled to lose weight you, may have asked yourself, “How do I speed up my metabolism?”

You may think that having a slow metabolism is just part of aging and that you are biologically destined to put on at least 2 pounds every year. When you look around, most people are following that path; it seems inevitable.

The truth is you don’t have to suffer from a slower metabolism as you age, and in fact, you can reverse the damage that has already been done.

We need to first understand that the body is intelligent; it wants to function optimally and survive. So before discovering how to speed up your metabolism, let’s find out exactly what causes a slow metabolism.

What Causes a Slow Metabolism?

Yo-Yo Dieting

Whenever the body is restricted in “resources,” it will conserve those resources. For example, if you are on a low salt diet, the body will hold on to every bit of salt it has for survival.

When it comes to fat and body weight, the body has a “set point”;  this set point comes from the body’s perception of what it needs for stored energy.
If, for example, your biological set point is 120 pounds, and you eat more calories, the body will increase your metabolism to burn the extra calories and stay at 120.

On the other hand, if you lower your intake of calories, it will lower your metabolism to keep you at the set point.
When you diet, especially repeated yo-yo dieting, it makes your body not trust you, teaching the body there isn’t enough food, and it will inherently slow the metabolism.

Caloric Restriction

When you decide to diet and restrict calories, that will help you lose weight temporarily.  However, the body is smart and will enter the state of “survival” or starvation mode.  If your body is seeking glucose for energy, it will slow down its metabolism to maximize the use of the limited calories coming in.

You only have a limited amount of stored glucose on the body to use (around 2,000 calories.  If the body registers that you are limiting the incoming glucose, it will conserve what it has by lowering the metabolic rate to stay at that set point.  After temporarily losing weight, the metabolism slows down, and now a person has to lower their caloric intake, even more, to continue losing weight.

High Carb Diet

To compound the issue of yo-yo dieting and caloric restriction, eating a carb-based diet increases your set point.

Every time you eat glucose or carbs, your blood sugar increases and then crashes. And, to compound the issue, if you do this throughout the day, the blood sugar spikes insulin continuously, triggering fat storage all day long.

Insulin’s job is to store fat.  The blood sugar will become a “roller coaster” constantly going up and down.  Every time it dips, it is telling your body it is lacking fuel and doesn’t trust that it can survive without more food.  This triggers increased appetite and fat storage.

You are also teaching your body to become carbohydrate-dependent, and not knowing how to tap into your fat stores.  This is worsened as you increase your insulin every time you eat and slowly become insulin resistant over time.  This will ensure you will burn only carbs and store fat.

A high-carb diet will raise your set point because the body wants to store more and more for survival. You have taught your body that food is scarce.

Sedentary Lifestyle

With current lockdowns and restrictions in place, it’s easy to adopt a sedentary lifestyle.
However, without moving, you are inhibiting fat oxidation and mobilizing the fat to burn.  Walking, yoga, weight lifting, and moderate exercise increase the fat-burning mechanisms in your body, increases blood flow and lymphatic drainage.  It also can lower insulin and blood sugar levels.

Over Exercising

Too much hard or chronic exercise can increase cortisol levels which is a stress response.  When cortisol increases, blood glucose increases, stimulating fat storing.
I recently interviewed Tara Garrison – Health Coach, weightlifter, marathon runner and founder of the Keto Inside & Out System where we spoke at length about the down side of extreme fitness and over exercising. You can watch the full video by clicking the link below:

Doing HIIT training 1-3 times a week is great for muscle growth, stimulating growth hormone and testosterone; doing it every day will backfire and increase cortisol levels, burning out the adrenals.

Reduction in Testosterone and Human Growth Hormone

When you are dependent on a glucose-based diet, your testosterone and human growth hormone will decrease.  These two hormones are fat-burning hormones.  As they lower, fat burning decreases.

Thyroid Issues

For most people, their thyroid functions are suppressed as they age from the accumulation of GMO’s, heavy metals, oxalates, and radiation exposure that clog the thyroid. To compound the issue, the modern day food supply is absent of iodine. The thyroid needs iodine for optimal function; the toxins fill the iodine receptor sites in the thyroid, making it toxic and absent of the necessary iodine.

The thyroid hormones, T4 and T3, won’t be formulated without the proper amounts of iodine, and won’t be activated with a clogged liver filled with toxins. The liver is where T4 turns into T3 (the active thyroid hormone) and can then be used to increase metabolism by producing ATP in the mitochondria.  ATP is true cellular energy, and without changing that, your metabolism won’t increase. To compound the issue, the current food supply is depleted of iodine, and most people are severely deficient.

Spike Protein

Spike Protein has affected the function of the ACE2 receptor on the surface of human cells, which affects insulin regulation, hormonal balance, inflammation, and metabolism. Many people are reporting slower metabolism and thyroid function due to the Spike Protein.

How to Fix Your Slow Metabolism?

It is possible to fix your slow metabolism and change your metabolic “set point” with the following tools:

Sara Banta’s Accelerated Diet Cleanse

Sara Banta’s Accelerated Diet Cleanse is a revolutionary detox created by Sara Banta and is a complete detox protocol that will deliver a colon detox, reduction in foreign pathogens in the body, and prepare the body for the final step of a Liver Cleanse.
You will flush out gallstones out of the body. No other Detox protocol is as comprehensive while simultaneously improving your mental and physical energy. You will see a reduction of bloat, increased fat burning and metabolism, improved thyroid health, improved mental clarity, and improved digestion.

Acceleradine® Iodine

The function of the thyroid gland is to take iodine and convert it into thyroid hormones: Thyroxine (T4) and Triiodothyronine (T3). T4 and T3 stand for Tyrosine and 3 or 4 molecules of iodine. The thyroid cells combine iodine and the amino acid tyrosine to make T3 and T4. T3 and T4 are then released into the bloodstream and are transported throughout the body where they control the metabolism. Your thyroid converts tyrosine into thyroglobulin and attaches between one and four iodine atoms to create T1, T2, T3 and T4 respectively.

Furthermore, sufficient iodine in all tissues and cells helps to produce 36 ATP through the Krebs cycle, which has profound implications for all levels of function, including metabolism and brain function. When we are low in iodine, we tend to transition into glycolysis, which only produces 2 ATP. This significantly lower ATP production greatly contributes to low physical and mental energy, disease, and slow metabolism. Iodine increases fat oxidation as well, helping the body burn its own body fat for energy.

Accelerated Fast®

When you take Accelerated Fast®, your body shifts into burning its fat for energy and halting its dependency on dietary fuel. As a result, it knows that the supply of energy is endless and, as a result, revs up the metabolism. Calorie restriction from Yo-yo dieting has taught your body to slow down its metabolism to compensate for the restricted energy that is coming in.

In addition to speeding up the metabolism, the additional ingredients in the Accelerated Fast® break down saturated fats into unsaturated fats. These unsaturated fats are easier for the body to utilize and easier for the body to convert to ketones. Because of this property, Accelerated Fast® can “de-fat” and cleanse the liver gently as well.
It is well known that the liver is responsible for converting stored fat into ketones. The more a person’s liver is defatted and unclogged, the easier it is for the liver to function in all areas including producing ketones. The liver is also where the thyroid hormone converts from T4 to T3, and as the liver function becomes better, the thyroid works better as well, increasing metabolism and energy further.

Accelerated Thyroid®

Accelerated Thyroid® helps restore proper thyroid function by combining three formulas into one. It includes an ancient Ayurvedic formula called Kanchanara known to detox and support the thyroid, grass fed freeze dried glandular to provide the needed peptides and amino acids, and additional nutrients needed for thyroid health. It is then enhanced with Scalar Frequencies to help:

    • Clear emotional and physical shock from the body
    • Detox toxins from the thyroid
    • Detox radiation from the thyroid that can slow metabolism

Accelerated Thyroid® helps improve metabolism, fat burning, energy, mood, hormonal balance, and water retention.

Accelerated Scalar Copper®

Most people find themselves depleted of copper due to processed foods and the Spike Protein independently accelerated the depletion of copper out of the body. Copper is essential to control insulin resistance and metabolism of fat. It does this in three ways:

    • Copper inhibits the Polyol Pathway which is responsible for converting glucose into sorbitol and fructose. This mechanism helps control uric acid, insulin resistance, and metabolism.
    • Copper plays a crucial role in keeping triglycerides and liver fat at optimal levels, which in turn, help fat metabolism.
    • Copper is essential for fat metabolism, as it ensures the proper breakdown and utilization of fat.
    • Copper stimulates mechanisms that improve fat burning.
    • Copper regulates iron in the blood, which is directly related to oxidative stress.

By reducing oxidative stress, copper indirectly helps improve metabolism.

Accelerated Scalar Copper® is the only liquid copper supplement with 99 per cent absorption, treated with Water Implosion Technology and enhanced with Scalar Frequency for increased efficacy.

Sara Banta’s Accelerated Liver Flush Cleanse

The liver is responsible for many mechanisms in the body related to metabolism. Many people suffer from a slow metabolism due to a “dirty” and overburdened liver. The Accelerated Liver Flush Cleanse will help:

    • Maintain healthy insulin and uric acid levels
    • Optimize protein and fat metabolism
    • Improve inflammation
    • Improve thyroid hormones
    • Detox the body of toxins and radiation that can lower metabolism
    • Help alleviate Fatty Liver
    • Improve the ACE2 receptor function damaged by the Spike Protein

Apple Cider Vinegar

Acetic acid intake suppresses body fat accumulation due to the upregulation of fatty acid oxidation. It upregulates the enzymes SREBP-1, which regulates lipogenic enzymes, and PPARalpha, which, in turn, regulates fatty acid oxidation and elevates uncoupling protein 2 (UCP2).

Low Carb Diet

Sticking to a low carb diet will help your insulin and glucose levels remain low, encouraging fat burn and increased ATP production in the cells.  As I mentioned in my article, Counting Calories for Weight Loss, it has been shown that those on a low carb diet burn an extra 300 calories more per day than those on a high carb diet even though their caloric intake was the same.

Eat Wild Animal Protein

Eating protein not only increases the “Thermic Effect” and utilizes 25% of the protein calories for digestion and through producing heat, but it also can increase the glucagon, which is the fat burning hormone. Furthermore, the amino acids in protein stimulate the CCK hormone in the gut that is responsible for telling the brain that appetite is satisfied. CCK is only triggered by amino acids and Omega 3 Fatty acids.

Intermittent Fasting

By intermittent fasting and keeping your eating window within a 2-8 hour period, will reset insulin sensitivity, which is the number one condition for fat loss and increased metabolism. When you eat constantly throughout the day, you are constantly triggering the release of insulin which tells the body to store fat.  This pattern never allows the body to break from “fat-storing mode.”  Even if you eat the same amount of calories, you will burn more fat and boost your metabolism by squeezing those calories into a shorter period of time.

Eliminate Processed Food

Processed foods and excess fructose can derail your metabolism through multiple different ways including:

  • It causes high uric acid levels, which leads to increased insulin resistance, fat storage, and low metabolism.
  • It deregulates cellular energy by decreasing ATP (the energy in the mitochondria of the cell) and increases your appetite for more fructose.
  • Increased uric acid flips the “survival switch”, telling the body to slow down metabolism, encourage fat storage, and increase caloric consumption all at once.
  • It increases oxidative stress which decreases energy production, impairs fat furning, and stimulates fat production, and reduces the ability to make ATP.

The fatty acids released by stored fat are blocked, and further reduce the ability to make ATP while stimulating the production of fat. When ATP levels fall, the body thinks it is an emergency and lowers metabolism even further while increasing hunger for those same processed foods in hopes of increasing energy.

The hormone leptin tells the brain to stop eating when it has eaten enough protein, gat, and glucose; however, processed food causes the brain to seek out more food, overriding the normal signaling. This is called leptin resistance.

LIfeWave Energy Enhancer Patches

LifeWave Energy Enhancer Patches increase ATP production in the mitochondria and help burn an extra 300 calories per day. They also increase heart rate variability, improve the bioelectrical measurement or “phase angle” or integrity of the cell walls, reduce inflammation, and increase endurance.

Clinical research of the Energy Enhance Patches showed that in just 20 minutes, the capacity of each cell increases. With age, the cell walls become rigid and hard to penetrate with nutrients coming in and toxins going out. The Energy Enhancer Patches soften that cell wall and improve that phase angle within five minutes of applying the patch.

The patch works directly on the increasing ATP production of the mitochondria.  Additionally, it improves digestion and circulation which are essential for nutrient absorption that leads to improved energy.

Lastly, it increases beta-oxidation which is the fastest way to increase cellular energy.  As a plus, it increases fat burning and muscle growth.  They work synergistically with the Accelerated Fast® in your fat burning and tapping into an endless supply of fuel source on your body.

X39 Patches

X39 patches increase your own stem cell production and reset 4000 genes to younger state. As a result, the patches help repair collagen in all tissues, activate stem cell production, encourage apoptosis of cancer cells, and discourage metastatic cancer cells.
Through clinical studies, an improvement in the overall energy of the body, organ balance, and symmetry distribution of energy was improved as well.
