Menopause Supplements That Really Work

by Sara Banta | Apr 14, 2023 | AHP News, Hormones, Menopause, Supplements

As a certified supplement expert I see many supplements (let’s make that hundreds of supplements) promising to help reduce Menopause symptoms. Unfortunately, the fact is that most pharmacy and supermarket Menopause supplements either don’t work or have minimal impact.

To learn which Menopause supplements actually do work, let’s first touch on Menopause and common symptoms many menopausal women experience.

Menopause Symptoms

menopause symptoms

Menopause is a natural process that marks the end of a woman’s reproductive years. It is a time when the body undergoes several changes, as it transitions from a phase of fertility to infertility. It is caused by a natural decline in the production of hormones such as estrogen and progesterone by the ovaries, which leads to the end of menstruation and the end of a woman’s ability to conceive.

The exact cause of Menopause is not fully understood, but it is believed to be related to the aging of the ovaries, which results in the depletion of eggs and the gradual decrease in hormone production. Other factors that may contribute to the onset of Menopause include genetic factors, smoking, chemotherapy or radiation therapy, and certain medical conditions or surgeries that may affect the reproductive system.

While Menopause is a natural process, it can be challenging for many women as it often comes with a range of physical, mental and emotional symptoms that can be difficult (and frustrating) to manage.

Just as the age of Menopause can be different for every woman, so too can Menopause symptoms.

Menopause symptoms experienced by one woman may never be experienced by another.
However, there are a range of symptoms that are generally common to most menopausal women.

Common Menopause symptoms include:

Hot flashes and night sweats

Hot flashes are a sudden feeling of heat, which can be accompanied by sweating and flushing of the face and neck. Hot flashes can be triggered by a range of factors, including stress, caffeine, alcohol, and spicy foods. Night sweats are similar to hot flashes but occur during sleep, often causing women to wake up feeling drenched in sweat.

Irregular periods

As women approach Menopause, their menstrual cycles may become irregular, with periods becoming shorter or longer in duration, or occurring at unpredictable intervals. This can make it difficult to plan around periods and can also be emotionally challenging for women who may feel like they are losing control over their bodies.

Mood changes

Menopause can also cause mood changes, including irritability, anxiety, and depression. These changes are thought to be linked to fluctuating hormone levels, which can affect the brain’s neurotransmitters, leading to changes in mood.

Fatigue & lack of energy

Many menopausal (and women in perimenopause) complain of feeling extremely tired, having no energy, and experience symptoms similar to chronic fatigue.

Vaginal dryness

Vaginal dryness is a common symptom of Menopause, which can lead to discomfort during sex and an increased risk of vaginal infections. This occurs due to a decrease in estrogen levels, which can cause the tissues of the vagina to become thin and dry.

Sleep disturbances

Many women experience sleep disturbances during Menopause, including difficulty falling asleep, waking up frequently during the night, and waking up feeling tired. These sleep disturbances are often linked to hormonal changes and can have a significant impact on a woman’s quality of life.

Weight gain

Many women also experience weight gain during Menopause, which can be frustrating and challenging to manage. This is thought to be due to a combination of factors, including hormonal changes, decreased muscle mass, and a decrease in physical activity levels.

Hair and skin changes

Menopause can cause changes in hair and skin, including thinning hair, dry skin, and wrinkles. These changes are also thought to be linked to hormonal changes, as well as changes in collagen production and blood flow.

Menopause Supplements That Really Work

As we can see from the Menopause symptoms listed above, physical health, emotional health and mental health can all be affected by Menopause. You may experience just one of these symptoms – or all of them and more.
Therefore, it is unlikely that one single supplement would help to alleviate all of these symptoms.

Menopause supplements need to be of high quality, but to help naturally balance the hormones causing the symptoms.

This is why I have put together the Menopause Essentials Kit.

Tired of seeing (and hearing) about Menopause supplements that simply don’t make any difference? The following supplements work synergistically to alleviate symptoms and help you feel like your younger self.
Keep reading as I explain in detail why each of these supplements works to help manage Menopause naturally.

The Menopause Essentials Kit

Acceleradine® Iodine

Acceleradine® is an award-winning iodine supplement that helps regulate estrogen production and supports cleaning the blood so that the liver can do its job to detox the bad estrogens out of the body properly.

Iodine decreases estrogen in the receptor cells which helps reverse the damage done by the bad estrogens. Acceleradine® is also an anti-inflammatory and a powerful antioxidant, which helps neutralize the inflammation and oxidative stress associated with Menopause and estrogen dominance.

Acceleradine® triggers healthy apoptosis (natural death of traumatized and unhealthy cells), which helps to balance hormones during Menopause and reverse estrogen dominance.
Acceleradine® is the only iodine that is enhanced with Scalar healing frequencies, is radiation-free, 100 per cent absorbed, and may reverse the damage done to your DNA.

Accelerated Ancient Salt™

Accelerated Ancient Salt™ “plumps” up the volume of fluid inside and outside the cells which helps clean the liver, support apoptosis, induces DNA repair, and cleanse the body of excess bad estrogens associated with Menopause. It also helps with bile production, breaking down fats in the liver, and encourages better digestion.

Accelerated Fast®™

Accelerated Fast®™ flips the body into ketosis within 30 minutes which helps control the appetite and reverse the fatigue and brain fog associated with Menopause. It teaches the body to burn its own fat stores instead of storing fat during Menopause.

As energy improves and blood sugar is lowered, sugar cravings diminish, insulin resistance reverses, the liver is cleaned, excess bad estrogens are released, and inflammation is reduced. The additional ingredients in Accelerated Fast® help increase ATP production significantly which increases the declining energy associated with Menopause.

Furthermore, the risk of fatty liver is associated with Menopause, and Accelerated Fast® helps “de-fat” the liver where fat burning occurs, hormones are regulated and thyroid hormones are optimized for metabolism.

Accelerated Thyroid®

One of the main issues with Menopause is a slower, suboptimal thyroid leading to a slowed metabolism and weight gain. Accelerated Thyroid® not only helps reverse hypothyroid and Hashimoto’s but also helps detox the thyroid from radiation and heavy metals that slow it down.

Accelerated Thyroid® incorporates ancient herbs and advanced glandular therapy in addition to needed ingredients to support metabolism and thyroid health during Menopause. Furthermore, it is enhanced with Scalar frequencies that help heal the thyroid, neutralize toxins found in the thyroid, and neutralize radiation and nuclear fallout.

Cogniblast®

Cogniblast® targets the short-term and long-term mental issues associated with Menopause.

Benefits of Cogniblast may include:

    • Enhanced cognition
    • Enhanced focus
    • Improved mood
    • Increased ATP production and cellular energy
    • Enhanced memory and learning
    • Increased learning speed
    • Increased lifespan
    • Decreased anxiety
    • Improved motivation
    • Prevent Alzheimer’s and Dementia
    • Neutralizes damaging Free Radicals
    • Decreases inflammation
    • Supports liver, lungs, kidneys, and other organs
    • Improves circulation
    • Reduces stress
    • Increases energy

Liquid BioCell Collagen

Unlike any other collagen supplement, Liquid BioCell Collagen provides you with a naturally-occurring matrix of hydrolyzed collagen, hyaluronic acid, and chondroitin sulphate. As hair loss and joint issues are common issues with Menopause, this type of collagen helps promote healthier, fuller hair, healthier joints and younger-looking skin.

The combination harbors potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The formulation also helps reduce oxidative stress and inflammation that accelerate the aging process during Menopause.

Hormone Fixxr

Hormone Fixxr helps increase testosterone in females gently and naturally. As a result, the body will be able to build more lean muscle, burn more fat, and improve mood.

Choline and Inositol

The female body loses its ability to produce choline during Menopause. Choline helps with liver detoxification, methylation of estrogen, and cell membrane support. Additionally, it helps facilitate fat burning and has been shown to prevent abnormal cholesterol and triglyceride accumulation. Inositol helps support insulin sensitivity and overall hormonal balance as well.

Recommended Additions for Effective Menopause Management

LifeWave Glutathione Patch

Many of the symptoms associated with Menopause are due to the body’s inability to detox the “bad estrogens”; Glutathione helps the liver detox excess estrogen in addition to being a powerful antioxidant, boosting the immune system and protecting the brain.

The Glutathione stem cell patch triggers your own production of glutathione versus taking a glutathione supplement with sulphur (which may backfire and back up the liver detox pathways). Furthermore, the patch increases glutathione levels by 300 per cent in 24 hours versus only 14 per cent in 30 days by most supplements.

LifeWave X39 Stem Cell Activation Patch

During Menopause, stem cell production diminishes significantly; the X39 patch increases the body’s stem cell production and resets over 4,000 genes to a younger state. As a result, detoxification improves, menopausal hormones improve, collagen increases, and estrogen detoxification improves.

LifeWave Energy Enhancer Patch

Many women experience a slowed metabolism and compromised fat burning during Menopause. The Energy Enhancer Patch increases metabolism by 300 calories a day and increases fat oxidation. Furthermore, it increases cellular health by upregulating cellular detoxification and nutrient absorption. Lastly, it helps increase energy, support digestion, and improve circulation.

LifeWave X49 Patch

During Menopause, the ability to maintain and build muscle and the ability to burn belly fat is inhibited. The X49 patch has been shown to increase strength, stamina, and lean muscle while decreasing body fat. It has also been shown to help reverse hair loss and bone loss related to Menopause.

Aeon Patch

During Menopause, many women experience high levels of stress. The Aeon patch helps reduce stress, calms the mind, and reduces cortisol levels. It helps balance our autonomic nervous system which includes heart rate, blood pressure, digestion, and respiration.

Alavida Patch

Many women experience sagging skin, wrinkles, insomnia, and brain fog. The Alavida Patch works by elevating the epithalamin peptide, helps improve skin texture and tone, helps improve sleep, and regulates hormones.

Shine Mist

Shine aromatherapy mist may help improve hormonal balance during Menopause by increasing testosterone, boosting the immune system, and boosting energy.

Dream Mist

This new health technology combined with aromatherapy heightens the benefits of our all-natural ingredient panel so you feel the energy when you need it most and can unwind when it’s time to relax before bedtime.

PerfectAminos

Most menopausal women have a difficult time consuming enough protein to support maintaining lean muscle. PerfectAminos is a pure essential amino acid supplement containing the exact ratio necessary to build new proteins. Because of this, it is 99% utilized by the body.

One serving of PerfectAminos is equivalent to 30 grams of whey protein, with only 2 calories. PerfectAminos is the only protein to allow you to increase muscle mass without gaining water or fat weight at the same time. In other words, you can “lean bulk”.

Lifestyle Changes to Help Alleviate Menopause Symptoms

Eat Wild Animal Protein and Fish

Some “healthy” proteins that come from vegan sources could be tripping up the liver’s detox pathways, contributing to Estrogen Dominance and menopausal symptoms. Furthermore, animal proteins including chicken, turkey, pork, and conventional beef contain amyloids which also burden the detox pathways and increase the growth of gut pathogens.

It is important to focus on eating wild meats and fish including bison, lamb, deer, elk, Cornish game hen, and wild fish. These proteins not only provide the dense nutrients women need to maintain lean muscle mass and burn fat, but they limit the toxic burden on the liver that worsen Menopause symptoms. Furthermore, the Omega 3 fatty acids and amino acids that only come from these wild foods trigger the hormone called CCK to help control food cravings and suppress urges to binge.

Eat Organic

Non- Organic foods have been sprayed with GMO’s, glyphosate, and toxins that back up the liver, increase the “bad” estrogens, and worsen Menopause symptoms.

Limit Alcohol

Alcohol worsens Menopause symptoms in three ways:

    • Alcohol increases Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) which, in turn, will increase the recycling of bad estrogens.
    • Alcohol increases estrogen on its own
    • Alcohol increases the conversion of testosterone into estrogen

Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent fasting helps support Menopause by:

    • Reducing inflammation and pain
    • Reducing Estrogen Dominance
    • Reducing belly fat and liver fat
    • Improving hormones

By reducing belly fat and improving insulin sensitivity, the conversion of testosterone into estrogen is minimized, and there is a domino effect of improved fat burning, metabolism and hormonal balance. Moreover, during intermittent fasting, the body enters a stage of autophagy where there is a “clean up” of damaged tissues, a reduction of inflammation, and an improvement of gut health. All of these factors minimize menopausal symptoms.

Eliminate Processed Foods, Seed Oils, and Sugar

All of these foods increase toxic estrogens, inflammation, leaky gut symptoms, and worsen menopausal symptoms.
