If you have been following me for the last year, you may know that a new member joined our family. Nova is a mini Goldendoodle and has stolen our hearts. We call her our “therapy dog”, and I treat her like my fourth child.
I give her Silver, ION Gut Health (formerly RESTORE), MyVitalC, and raw food everyday to keep her healthy. Ever since the day she arrived, she has never had diarrhea or an upset stomach, except for when she ate kitchen towels or earplugs found on the floor.
She was just spayed, and instead of the antibiotic and pain medication given to us by the vet, we gave her Silver and extra doses of MyVitalC to speed up the healing and fight off any bacterial infections. She has healed quickly and has more energy than ever! During the two weeks following her surgery, we sprayed the surgical wound three times a day with Silver.
The vet is extremely happy with how it healed with no infection or inflammation.
Nova has healed quickly and escaped the detrimental side effects of the antibiotic and pain medication. Antibiotics and pain medication are known to cause Leaky Gut and Microbiome imbalances, which in turn can cause system inflammation, auto-immune issues, and lower the immune system so that the animal or human is more susceptible to getting sick. Not only are those risks of the medication, but constipation, anxiety, brain fog and lethargy are also side effects of antibiotics and pain medication.
Ear Infections In Dogs
One thing I always do for Nova to improve her immune system is put a few drops of Silver in her ears.
For humans and animals, the ears are a pathway that bacteria and viruses love to get into the system through. In order to treat any sort of ear infection on a dog, horse, cat or any animal and human, you can put a few drops of silver in their ears and can dump it out after a couple of minutes or just let it sit there. You can also syringe the silver in the mouth of the animal or put it in their water dish for maintenance of good health. Animals respond to silver very quickly, as their immune systems are typically stronger than most humans because their diets are a little more clean and consistent. Also, they are not bombarded by the additional toxins humans face on a daily basis.
Silver has been used for thousands of years as a natural antibiotic, antiviral, antifungal agent. I have seen it personally work wonders on horses for skin infections, wounds and improve their internal health as they are fighting off bacteria or viruses.
Uses of Colloidal Silver for Dogs (and Other Pets)
Colloidal Silver for Ear Infections
Put 2-3 drops of silver in each ear to help fight ear infections caused by bacteria, virus, or any foreign pathogen.
For Eye Infections
Spray it in the Eyes for Eye Infections. Silver is known as a natural antibiotic so any infection in the eye, such as pink eye, allergy or inflammation may be helped with silver. They may blink a bit but it is just like spraying water in their eyes.
For Air Quality
Put it in a diffuser for improved air quality. This is a great way to devitalize foreign pathogens within a room. Some add lavender or other essential oils for enhanced effects and a pleasant aroma.
As a Daily Immune Booster
You can syringe a dose directly into the animals mouth or put a few tablespoons into the water dish. If you use a syringe, do so 2-4 times a day for daily maintenance to keep their immune systems strong. For the water dish, put about one to two tablespoons in their water to drink throughout the day. The taste won’t bother them because it tastes just like water.
On Burns or Wounds
You can spray it directly on a burn or wound. This will act as a natural antibiotic and speed up the healing. Silver is known to heal burn wounds quickly and is also known to help with any inflammatory skin disease. It has also been used for rashes, skin infections, and acne.
For Lung Health
You can use a muzzle on the animal and attach it to the nebulizer, having the animal or person breathe Silver directly into the lungs for any lung infection like bronchitis, asthma or pneumonia. The mist of Silver will easily go directly into the lungs and help fight the infection whether it is bacterial, viral or inflammation.
To Help Reduce Inflammation
Colloidal silver is also known as an anti-inflammatory remedy. Researchers at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) studied the effects of inflammation after being treated by Colloidal Silver; they found that the inflamed skin of pigs treated with Silver experienced near-normal skin after 72 hours, while other treatment groups not treated with Silver remained inflamed.
Additional Uses
Silver has been used to fight Yeast Infections, Sore Throats, Parasitic infestations, Fevers and Digestive issues.
For any acute issue, take 2 tsp of Silver every 90 minutes.

Colloidal silver is typically made with large silver particles that can build up in the body, and you need to be careful not to overdose. Many Colloidal Silvers are not made responsibly, so make sure you know your source and buy it from a reputable company.
